VEM Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a major Aerospace and Defence company based in Hyderabad has handed over the first Centre Fuselage for Light Combat Aircraft – Tejas to R. Madhavan, Chairman and Managing Director of HAL,
VEM Technologies is the production partner for the Centre Fuselage of Tejas to be fabricated in VEM with the support from HAL – LCA Division. VEM got its technical team members trained by HAL and built the Hi-Precision Jig to carry out the assembly of Centre Fuselage with 1595 parts of Mechanical and Composite structures certified by HAL QC and DGAQA.
R. Madhavan, CMD, HAL congratulates VEM Technologies for its dedication and competencies demonstrated in building the CFL for Tejas and getting qualified by the DGAQA. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C) an Information Technology (IT), Govt. of Telangana has congratulated VEM for the achievement. E P Jayadeva, GM, HAL-LCA Division, –General Manager, Arun J Sarkatehave, GM , Avionics Division, HAL also attended the event.

VEM established the state-of-the-art infrastructure including the Hi-precision Machinery, Metallurgical Processes and Treatments and Pneumo-hydraulic systems, Fuel systems, Automated PCBAs, Composites, RF & MW, Electro-Optics and Electrical Integration facilities to build the integrated systems for Land, Air and Naval Systems. The dedicated line established to produce Centre Fuselage for LCA – Tejas is expected deliver good volumes to HAL to meet the present and the future orders from Indian Armed Forces.
