
Singapore: The Singapore Airshow 2022 commenced at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore on Tuesday (February 15).
Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Mr Heng Swee Keat delivered the opening address at the Opening Ceremony of the airshow.

The eighth edition of the airshow will see more than 13,000 trade attendees and almost 600 participating companies from more than 39 countries/regions; representing more than 70% of the top 20 global aerospace companies.
The biennial Singapore Airshow is Asia’s most influential international aerospace and defence exhibition for stakeholders to forge strategic alliances, collaborate for change to shape the future of the global aviation industry.
The Singapore Airshow plays an increasingly crucial role for aerospace and defence thought-leaders to convene for strategic conversations that will shape the transformation of the industry.
Its highly curated programmes expand and connect exhibitors to new networks and opportunities are most strongly valued by participants. The airshow is an in-person event, organised on a by-invite basis.
It will be primarily for trade with no public day programmes. All attendees will be required to adhere to travel requirements and safe management measures stipulated by Singapore’s authorities.
Key participating exhibitors will include Airbus, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Bell, Boeing, Eaton Corporation, Israel Aerospace Industries, L3Harris Technologies, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney, Rafael Advanced Defense, Rolls-Royce, Safran, ST Engineering, Thales, and Turkish Aerospace.
Singapore Airshow 2022 will conclude on February 18.
