DefExpo 2022: Smart Shooter to Present Unique Smash Technology That ‘Locks On’ Target

Yagur (Israel): SMART SHOOTER, a world-class designer, developer, and manufacturer of innovative fire control systems that significantly increase the accuracy and lethality of small arms, will present its SMASH family of fire control systems at the DefExpo 2022 India exhibition in Gandhinagar, in a joint stand with its local partner for Make In India – Defsys Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Smart Shooter said it has recently delivered its SMASH Fire Control Systems to the Indian Navy, which will use the systems as close-in anti-drone equipment to protect naval installations and assets from attacking drones.

SMASH is a combat-proven Fire Control solution that ensures each round finds its target. With a unique “One Shot – One Hit” capability, SMASH allows the operator to quickly and effectively neutralise any ground or airborne target, manned or unmanned, including drones.

It is a cost-effective add-on solution that can be integrated onto any type of assault rifle and accommodate any kind of ammunition. Combining computer vision technologies, electro-optics, tracking algorithms and real-time embedded software, the SMASH solutions are ideal for defence, HLS and Border protection, and fully comply with the Indian operational and environmental needs.

Smart Shooter’s SMASH fire control solutions are fielded and in operational use by various friendly forces around the world, including the Indian Navy, Panjab State Police, the IDF, and the US Special Forces. Smart Shooter is committed to local manufacturing of its line of FCS as part of ‘Make in India’, and enjoys an exclusive technological collaboration with Defsys Solutions Pvt Ltd, a reputed manufacturer of Electro-optics, Electro-mechanical, RF and Radar Systems.

The two companies will present their solutions together during DefExpo – Hall 6 Stand 6S.1.
