‘Journeys Through Saudi’ Virtual Roadshow Launched

Riyadh: The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has launched an international virtual roadshow series ‘Journeys Through Saudi’, showcasing the best of the destination through an extraordinary journey around the country.

Building off the success of last year’s ‘Journeys in Arabia’ series, ‘Journeys Through Saudi’ is a series of exclusively designed virtual events for travel trade partners across the leisure and luxury segments, bringing together leading buyers to meet, understand and be inspired by Saudi’s diverse product offering.

Travel trade partners from India were invited to participate in the two-day roadshow on 14 and 15 February, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM to learn more about one of the last frontiers of leisure tourism, its vast landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality.

The virtual roadshow provides a platform for travel trade partners from around the world to engage directly with STA representatives and connect and build relationships with local suppliers in the hotels, airlines, DMC, and destinations space through specialised one-to-one meetings.

The roadshows will be taking place in 12 key source markets across the globe and will provide insight into the opportunities the destination has to offer, create demand for Saudi and its products and ultimately, drive visitation among all segments.

As Saudi continues to establish its presence as a leading global tourism destination, engaging the international tourism trade will be a key driver in raising awareness of Saudi, the authentic home of Arabia, and driving conversion in line with STA’s strategy and mission.
