DefExpo 2022 Postponed Due to ‘Logistics Problems’

The 12th edition of the biennial defence exhibition, DefExpo 2022, has been postponed, it was announced by the Indian government on Friday (March 4). The mega event was slated to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from March 10-14.

The new dates will be announced later.

“Due to logistics problems being experienced by participants, the #DefExpo2022 proposed to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from March 10th till March 14th is postponed. The new dates will be communicated in due course,” the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in a statement.

More than 1,000 exhibitors had registered. The decision from the Government of India (GoI) comes in the backdrop of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
