Dr Uddipan Mukherjee, IOFS has ben recently promoted to the rank of Director to the Govt of India. He was previously posted as Joint Director and PRO at the erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board and thereafter in Directorate of Ordnance (Coordination & Services) in Kolkata. Presently, he is in deemed deputation to the historic Gun and Shell Factory (GSF), Cossipore as Joint General Manager (Director rank) in-charge of administration. GSF – a unit under AWEIL Kanpur has supplied three AK 630 M guns installed at INS Vikrant (IAC). Dr Uddipan qualified the UPSC Civil Services examination in 2007 with an AIR 210.
