ROSOBORONEXPORT to Showcase Cutting-Edge Defence Technologies at ADEX 2024

ROSOBORONEXPORT JSC, part of Rostec State Corporation, is set to organize a unified Russian exhibit at the ADEX 2024 International Defence Industry Exhibition from September 24 to 26 in Baku. The event will feature twelve Russian companies presenting advanced products for armed forces, police, and counter-terrorism units.

“Russia and the Caspian countries have long-term good neighbourly relations, including in the sphere of military-technical cooperation. Our partners are well aware of reliable and effective Russian defence products,” said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of ROSOBORONEXPORT. The Lancet-E loitering munition system is the centrepiece of the exhibit, designed for assured engagement of various targets, including main battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and command posts. Its effectiveness in counter-battery warfare has been proven in battlefield conditions. The first foreign presentation of the Lancet-E system will take place on September 25 at ROSOBORONEXPORT’s booth in Pavilion 1.

Additionally, the RP-377VM1 (version 4) compact jammer will also be showcased for the first time overseas. This advanced electronic countermeasure device can suppress radio-controlled IEDs and the navigation links of commercial UAVs, demonstrating effectiveness in real combat scenarios. In the counter-UAV sector, ROSOBORONEXPORT will unveil the Item RB-504P-E, capable of detecting and jamming UAV communication and navigation links, including in automatic mode. This system is designed to counter drone “swarms” with sector and omnidirectional jamming capabilities.

The exhibition will also highlight key aircraft, including the Su-35 multirole fighter, Ka-52E scout/attack helicopter, Mi-17V-5 military transport helicopter, and the Orlan-10E reconnaissance UAV. For army delegations, the T-90MS main battle tank, Terminator BMPT tank support vehicle, modernized Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, and S-400 Triumf long-range surface-to-air missile system will be featured. Naval representatives will have the opportunity to explore the Rubezh-ME coastal tactical missile system, integrating weapon and acquisition systems on a single platform for efficient target detection and engagement. A wide range of optical and electro-optical products, including thermal imaging sights and counter-sniper devices will also be on display.
