The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Romeo Brawner, visited the booth of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) at the Asian Defence & Security (ADAS) exhibition. During his visit, he expressed significant interest in the company’s air defence systems, radars, and projects related to land and coastal defence. Brawner was hosted by Maxim Zamir, IAI’s Vice President for Asia and Africa, Shay Gal, Vice President of External Relations, and Yair Katz, General Secretary of the National Union IAI Employees.
At the exhibition, IAI showcased a variety of groundbreaking systems, including air defence technologies, radar systems, loitering munitions, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and electronic warfare solutions.
Earlier this week, IAI also inaugurated a local office in the Philippines, led by RLM, which will act as the company’s official representative in the country. This initiative aims to strengthen IAI’s presence in the Philippines by fostering business collaborations with government agencies, local companies, and academic institutions, positioning it as a regional hub.
IAI has been expanding its activities and increasing investments in the local market in recent years. The company views its operations in the Philippines as an opportunity to achieve significant milestones that will serve as a growth engine for both the country and the broader region in the long term.
